James Packham directs a portfolio of businesses which specialise in sales and management for residential, commercial and retirement real estate. James is highly sought as a selling agent and auctioneer and holds respected industry awards from both Harcourts and the Real Estate Institute of South Australia. In 2019, James was recognised as the top business owner in Harcourts South Australia. He has completed degrees in Business and Economics from Flinders University and studied Operations Management at the Royal Military College (ADFA).

James manages a diverse investment portfolio and is a highly in demand speaker and thought leader within the real estate industry. He regularly provides commentary to the media and purveys reports and video content on real estate, investment and business-related advice to a wide audience.

Today, James is increasingly committed to his work in Philanthropy and various projects within the community. He is a Friend of Rotary, a supporter of the Harcourts Foundation which has gifted more than $4-million-dollars to charities in recent years, as well as contributing to several other community minded organisations.

Just a quick note to recognise the excellent result we achieved selling our property at Flinders Park with Bianca Browse.  We'd like to commend the exceptional service she provided before and throughout our sale process. We first met Bianca when she sold the adjoining maisonette in late 2014.  At the time we mentioned to Bianca that we would likely be selling our place as it was clear it was not big enough as a family home.   Bianca provided advice at the time about the likely market for our place and gave us advice on the best areas of improvement to maximise the appeal of the property. We then dragged the chain for 2 years, but Bianca followed up our progress regularly and engaged with us along the way.  I'm certain other agents would have given up.   When the time came to finally put the place on the market there was no way I was going to reward another agent with the opportunity - Bianca thoroughly deserved to take the property to market. At the commencement of the process, Bianca sought to understand our requirements and preferences before running through the pros and cons of each option before suggesting an Auction, clearly explaining her reasoning for this approach.  She provided advice on the best way to market the property, where our advertising spend would be best placed and the reasons for it.  When it came to staging and presenting the property, Bianca arrived hours before the photographer and spent a significant amount of time ensuring each room was perfect - the result was amazing.  In the two weeks of opens, we have had phenomenal response from the market, and this resulted in a number of pre-Auction offers.  We decided today to accept an offer pre-auction at a prices that exceeded our expectations. Bianca's communication has been fantastic, she's explained each step of the process and managed the sale with such professionalism, honesty, organisation and clarity that it's been just so easy for us.   That ease was no doubt a combination of factors, but the approach and management of the process "owned" by Bianca has been superb.   Whatever mechanisms you have to reward this exceptional service outside of your standard commission structure should be seriously considered.
